Lovin' Lollipops

Sunday afternoon we were just hanging out at home and Dad remembered we had candy left over from our Trunk 'or' Treat the night before. So, he and Noelle had some yummy lollipops. She freaked out because they were SO good. She kept pulling out of her mouth and saying, "MMMMMMM! Mommy! Yummy!"

Working In The Yard

The winds that tore through southern california did some serious damage to a lot of things including our yard. We finally had a evening to at least rake up some fo the leaves and wash away the ash that covered everything. Noelle loved ithaving her Daddy home so early! She was giggling, dancing around and hopping. She did wanted to do everything like a big girl, her favorite was throwing the leaves in 'da tash.'

BEST News!

The pathology report came back for Letty..........Drum Roll................. They did not even find ONE cancer cell. So, the pathology from the biopsy was either not right or it just found one little needle in a haystack. The doctors assume that it was a VERY NEW cancer starting to develop rather than the breast cancer metastasizing. YIPEEEEEEE!

Pickin' Out Pumpkins

We went to Lombardi's Ranch and had so much fun! It looks like Aaron is still chewing on some carmel apple.

My favorite part is always eating!

Noelle ran around like a crazy girls up and down the aisles picking up every pumpkins she could.

These are called the 'Big 'Macs' and you are not allowed to sit on them. So, Aaron is just hovering over the pumpkin and it looks like he is doing something else.

There were so many other things to do there but we were tired and went home. Sadly, though, the very next day the wild fire destroyed the ranch. The news said some of the pumpkins were saved but the rest of the ranch is destroyed. The family has been growing and selling vegetables for more than 60 years. They may retire and not open the ranch next year. :(

Puttin' On Clothes

Noelle loves to roam around the house puttin other peoples clothes on . Shoes, socks, shirt pants shorts, you name it!

Long Day

For those of you who know do or do not know about my sister in law, Leticia, being diagnosed with breast cancer last September. This September cancer cells were found in her uterus. We spent the day at Northridge Hospital Medical Center while she underwent a hysterectomy. Everything went better than anyone expected and we are SO relieved. Nothing in her abdomen looked even remotely suspicious, no masses, lumps or anything. Hopefully the rest of the lab results that are due next week will show no other cancer. Letty is doing amazing! She was able to talk with us this afternoon in spite of all the medicine she has received and all her body has been through. Her children Matthew & Evynn are so very tough and I am so proud of how strong they are being during these very difficult times.

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, make note of it! Here is a link to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure website. Here you can download and print or send away for a card with instructions on doing self breast exams. Do not be embarrassed! These exams are the key to early detection and therefore high survival rates. Start these exams early so that you will become familiar with your breast tissue, this way you will be able to easily detect any change in your breast tissue later on in life.

NEW CAMERA!

YEA! We finally got a new camera! We got it at Costco tonight and I could hardly stand the 5 minute drive home so I could start using it! We missed some really great memories such as: Noelle going pee-pee on the potty for the first time, Noelle getting into my make-up and covering her body in BRIGHT pink lipstick, our fourth wedding anniversary, Kelsey's thirteenth birthday....the list goes on.

While we were waiting for Daddy to get off work we went to Auntie's house for a little visit. She was having some serious Noelle withdrawl issues and needed a fix.

Cute little girl smiling with her Auntie

Catching the tail end of saying, "Cheeeeeeeeeeeese."

Such a sweet face, I had to post it!

Uh, oh! Unc is getting out the Goldfish crackers!

Lena waiting under the table for one those crackers!

Those crackers make you so thirsty. She kept asking for, "Milk."

She is showing off her red painted toenails.

All of this fun today has just worn us all out... Sweet dreams everyone.

*Note: I do not buy character clothing. These jammies were a hand me down and I love & appreciate them just the same.*
