We Miss Daddy

Aaron has been in Minnestoa all week for work, he left very early Sunday morning and will not be home until late Friday. We really do miss him. Noelle cannot figure out where he has gone and really misses singing, "I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home." Having the whole bed to myself is really weird, not to mention cold.

The worst part about Aaron being gone is I have to take out the trash. YUCK!

WE MISS and LOVE YOU!
Hurry Home!

AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today was a day that ranks right up there with the day I got married and the day I gave birth to my precious baby girl.

The best cousin in the world (a.k.a. Marin) got us a hook up for tickets to see a taping of the Ellen Degeneres Show. Cool, huh? Well, the cool part is that GARTH BROOKS performed.

It was AMAZING, it was UNBELIEVABLE, it was AWESOME, it was CRAZY, it was......I could go on for days. So, are you asking yourself why am I going on and on about seeing the guy perform 3 OUT OF THIS WORLD songs? Well, it only gets better. When we left the studio he was outside signing autographs. I got to stand body to body with GARTH BROOKS for at least 5 minutes, maybe even 10. I got his autograph on my CD. I kind of actually had a short conversation with him. Marin and I got to take 2 pictures with him. We called my Aunt and he spoke on the phone with her.

He really and truly may be the kindest man I have ever met. He must have heard Marin say my name in passing because I never did and he addressed me by name. He remembered us when we came back for the second time to get a picture with him. I am just so pleasantly surprised at how kind he was.

The whole experience was so fulfilling. I still cannot believe it happened!

The show airs Monday, Feb 25th at 4:00 on channel 4. You may get to see my first television appearance. I am the blond screaming like a 9 year old girl who saw Hannah Montana.

Caleb's Birthday Party

Noelle's really good freind Caleb turned three and his parents had a really great party for him at PumpItUp in Ventura. Noelle went crazy. Below is the video of the first time she went down one of the slides. After that she was on her own climbing up and going down by herself. It kinda freaks me out because she has NO fear! The other is showing her climbing up the wall of the obstacle course.

It is making me crazy that some of the videos come across the wrong way and I can't fix them.

Even though the picture looks like she is not having fun she LOVED it!

Running around having so much fun!

Eight Things About Noelle

Our good friends, The Roses, tagged me! Here are eight things about me.

1 - My favorite food is RAISINS! I could eat (and ask for) them all day long. Yogurt and Cheerios are both a VERY close second.

2 - I love to sing. I have many songs memorized. My favorites to sing are, "I Love to See The Temple," and "Families Can Be Together Forever." When I am going to bed and it is song time Mommy or Daddy ask what song I want to sing and I say, "Ummmm........Temple." When they done with that song I say, "Too-ge-der."

3 -I am very much a two year old and I do naughty two year old things. When I have made a mistake I run to the corner while crying, "I sorry. I sorry. Kisses. Mommy. I sorry." I try to work the system. I have been to the corner enough times to know that "I'm sorry" is my ticket out and Mommy always smothers me with kisses when I have been released.

4 - My new fascination is Strawberry Shortcake. I am O.B.S.E.S.S.E.D. If my Mommy could pick any character this would be the one because she loved her when she was little, too. Hey, I do what I can to please those who created me.

5 - I really and truly do love my Daddy . I hear the lock turn in the door and I get so excited I can't stand it. I yell, "I hear Da-yee! I hear Da-yee!"

6 - I am growing into such a big girl. I don't want to eat with plastic utensils or sit in my booster, stuff like that is for babies.

7 - I have so many friends and people that I love and want to see and talk to. I am always asking to talk to Jakey, Uncle JoJo, Auntie, and Grandma on the phone. When we are driving around town, I recognize where I am and ask Mama if we can stop. Like when we were driving down LA Ave today she said, "Mama, Sean-ie, Sarah! Pweeeeeese!"

8 - If I am not quite ready to go to sleep when I am put in my crib, I like to play around for awhile. When I am wearing zip-up jammies I like to unzip them and pull my diaper off. Mommy and Daddy are not aware of this so I just pee all over myself and my blankets all night long. If I am feeling really special, I go poopies in my bed. Makes my Mom crazy and it grosses her out. It's not my fault, she wanted me.

I want to tag: Jacob, Norah, Macey, Carson, Holly, Peyton, Annalyce, Miles, Kenley, Parker, Carter, Kenji and Halle.

I think I got everyone.

Fun At The Park

We played at the park with our friends Ryan and Caleb. Noelle and Caleb went in the swing together! They were pretty cute!

Little Fashionista

Noelle and I were ready to go out for the day. She was all dressed so she ran downstairs while I got my shoes on. When I got down there she was playing with her 'town' and I looked at her feet. She had taken off her shoes and put new ones on.

Noelle Loves These Eaaaaaaaars

And she is always putting them on Daddy's head.

Rockin' Out

I don't have the time to turn this around, but you get the point.

Welcome to miami...Buenvenidos a miami

As most of you know we planned a special trip for my Grandma because she turned 80. We travled to Florida and went on a cruise to Naussu in the Bahamas. It was a long way to travel and we only got one day in the Bahamas but we sure had a lot of FUN!
We were only in Miami for one night but we made the most of it. After checking into the hotel we wanted to check out South Beach and stopped to dance at this place called Mangos. In no time we met some locals and cut-a-rug!
Brother Matthew and cousin Marin

I don't remember this guys name but he thought Marin was HOT and wanted a picture with her.

Some guy we met on the way back to the hotel. He thinks we will see him on TV one day. Good luck!
Eating Cuban food before we got on the boat. YUM! YUM! YUM! It was so good!

Waiting for our taxi at the hotel!

My Prophet

It has taken me a week to write a post to honor President Hinckley because I felt like words just do not suffice how I feel for him.

I rememeber the day when President Hunter died. I was up before the sun getting ready for seminary. I can feel myself standing in front of the bathroom mirror and I can hear the radio alarm in my Mom's room playing country music. The song was over and the DJ came on and said that the President of the LDS church had died. I was so surprised. It made me remember the time when I was in the first grade and telling my friends in the lunch line that the Prophet had died and they looked at me like I was crazy. From a young age, even when our family was less active and did not participate, I knew how important the President of Our Church was.

Last Sunday night I went over to a friends home and she told what had happened. My heart broke because I would never hear him speak again and I was so happy for his reunion with Sister Hinckley.

President Hinckley was a beacon for me through all my formative years. His optimisim, tenderness towards people, humor, kindness, and love always bolstered me up and he filled me with hope. He was my prophet. I love and miss him.
