Little Girl

I am gently trying to get Noelle to use the potty. NO WAY! She wants to be in control, of course, so I have bagged it for now. We were at Target the other day and we stopped to see if they had Strawberry Shortcake panties, she would definitely want to wear those. They did not have Strawberry Shortcake but they did have Elmo. She has never seen Elmo but her Friend Jacob has and she know who he is. She immediately pointed at the Elmo panties and wanted them. I washed them when we got home and she immediately wanted to wear every pair of them. We put them on one after another.

Here she was upset because I would not let her have the camera. I am such a mean Mommy.

Noelle's Sleeping Habits Have Changed

I have to blog this because it is a memory I do not want to forget.

On Sunday night I was at Auntie's house until 2:30 in the morning playing Scrabble. Fun, I know! I crawled into bed and it seemed only minutes later (it was 5:30am) I hear, "Lil' One! Lil' One, wake up!" That is Aaron's nickname for me and I have no idea where he got that from because there really is nothing little about me.

But, anyway, it scared me to death. I stumble out of bed and cracked one eye open. Aaron takes me by the arm into the hallway and I cannot believe my eyes. Noelle had obviously climbed out of her crib, took all of the clothes out of her dresser, and pulled all her blankets and pillows off her bed. She piled them all in her doorway and was fast asleep laying on top of it all.

Her head then popped up and she says, "Hi, Mama." Dang! I could not get a picture. We do not have get her out of bed anymore, she throws a leg over and jumps out. Last night we were on the couch watching our recorded episode of Survivor. It was 9:44pm exactly and Noelle just appears in front of us and says, "OH! HI DAAAA-YEEEEEEE!" Scared us to death!

She really is not my baby anymore. It breaks my heart! Now we have to make a decision......take the front of her crib off and make it a toddler bed or just put her directly into a twin bed.
