Playing At The Park

3 Months Old

I am going to start a petition to extend the length of the brand-new-baby phase. Madeleine is growing way too fast.....gone is the sleepy, snuggly newborn. She's awake a lot, wants to kick her arms & legs, and is always looking around for something interesting. It just goes too fast! But, it is so fun and exciting to see her develop and learn new things. I am loving every minute of her sweet life.

She's even wearing fleece footed jammies to bed. Come on people!

She Fell Asleep...

She takes after her Uncle Jo-Jo who used to fall asleep in the shower.

Welcome Baby Thomas!

In October I wrote this post, asking prayers on behalf of some dear friends and their unborn baby boy.
Here He Is!

Thomas Murray Wilde

5 pounds 11 ounces, 17 inches

And there is not a single thing wrong with his little body. He is perfectly healthy! Blessed his Mama even further by making his debut 3 weeks ahead of schedule.

Congrats to Melanie, Lin and Big Sister Norah! We love all of you.

Little Promptings

Wednesday night we ran to the produce store to just get a couple of things we needed. I was going to leave Madeleine in her car seat and put it in the cart, but at the last second changed my mind and put her in the baby bjorn. Noelle had been such a good girl that day, I let her walk beside me rather than putting her in the cart. The carts at this store are very small and do not weigh much at all. We were chatting while I was picking out some squash and the next thing I hear is Noelle screaming. She had grabbed onto the side of the cart and her weight pulled it over on top of her. My heart flew out of my chest, it was so scary seeing her on the ground with a grocery cart on top of her! She was just fine, more scared than hurt. We were quite the scene with tomatoes rolling everywhere, lettuce hanging off, and who knows what else.

After several minutes of hugs & kisses she was feeling better and we were in the check out line...then it hit me. What made me change my mind at the last minute and not put the baby in the cart? I am very grateful that the Spirit spoke to my Mommy heart and I actually listened!

Valentines Day Is For Lovers

We had a great Valentines day! We took our time getting going in the morning and then ran errands, including stopping at Costco so Daddy could get Noelle a promised berry smoothie. Those things are becoming a Saturday ritual with those two, I think it may become an issue in the future.

That night we had Auntie and Unc over for dinner. I made Auntie's favorite, the ever so low calorie Alfredo with my own twist added, homemade focaccia bread, salad, and this super tasty dessert: snickerdoodle-blondies. I substituted regular cream cheese for the marscarpone cheese and it made no difference.

Sorry, I did not feel like cropping it.

I keep saying I am going to add a recipe section to my side bar but I never get around to it...soon I promise.

Then we whipped out the entertainment for the evening, you guessed it...GUITAR HERO! They just got a second guitar and a game with new songs, so we had to try it out. Let me tell you...double guitars is the way to go. We had a blast.

Please excuse my nasty sweat pants but after the meal we had, you can understand, the jeans had to go.

There were no cards, flowers, jewelry or any hoop-la, it was just us being in love with each other and our baby girls. It was by far the best Valentines Day ever.

Our Valentine Surprise For Daddy

Aaron loves cake, a lot! So last night Noelle and I baked some cupcakes and decorated them for Daddy. He was so very excited when he got home to see all of the yummy treats. Can you tell which were done by Noelle all by herself?

The decorating went mainly like this: a lick for me, a little for the cupcake, again, again, and again.
Yes, her pants are unbuttoned.

Morning Workout

Wouldn't you love to do your morning workout totally naked? Well, maybe if I looked this cute I would consider it!

I can hardly stand it, she's just so stinkin' edible. Even her little bummie has rolls!

Guitar Hero

Even Noelle has been bitten by the bug!

Sweetest girl ever...my nice Evynn.

Cara and Natalie

Noelle has the best time with her friends Cara and Natalie...

BONUS: Noelle loved wearing the little bonnett from Madeleine's blessing dress. If she ever converts to the Amish faith, she'll fit right in.

Woo-Hoo!

I left my camera at Auntie's so no pictures but we had a couple of fun days at Great Grandma and Grandpa Jones' house in San Luis Obispo while Daddy worked. Noelle loved them both, especially Grandpa. If she was not right under his feet (which made me incredibly nervous) she was asking where he was.

Friday night we celebrated Great Grandma Honey's birthday at Auntie's with the whole family. The main attraction was their new Guitar Hero. It was a blast! As my brother, Matthew, put it, "It's the new crack!"

The highlight? Madeleine was so worn out from all the fun and being passed from person to person she fell asleep on Auntie's bed at about 11:00pm, then slept until 8:30am. Holy Moly! When we got home we just left her in the car seat on my side of the bed, I kept waking up peeking in on her and she just snoozed right along. Last night was not a repeat, unfortunately, but we know she can do it!

Madeleine's Blessing

We had Madeleine's Baby Blessing on Sunday at Church (Superbowl Sunday! Not intentional.), it was such a sweet Day. Her Daddy gave her a beautiful blessing, which she peacefully slept through. We had most of our dear friends there with us and we are so appreciative of their love and support. Sorry, we did not get any pictures with them...I always do that! Lunch at our house afterwards was great, we love spending time with everyone. Noelle is especially thankful for Jacob, they have way too much fun together.
Sweetest Baby Girl...

Daddy and his GIRLS

Can't remember what but I am sure Aaron was saying something silly...

Yes, my eye disease is flaring up some. I will have a health/Graves' update tomorrow!
