Played Cranium and laughed and laughed and laughed.
It was a great day! We love you all!
Easter Morning
The Strawberry Shortcake panties were probably her favorite thing. Here she is discovering them. Maybe she will want to wear these instead of a diaper.

Our Trip to Texas 5 Months Ago
Caution VERY picture heavy. There was just so much fun to share, it was hard to narrow the pictures down to these!
Aunt Amy thought ahead and bought me some special toys. Sidewalk chalk was my favorite.
Sneaking a drink out of someone elses cup.
Cheese! Eating some incredibly authentic Mexican food before we caught our plane home.
Being that Aunt Amy is a chef we also made yummy food at home here are a couple samples of what was prepared...

Happy 30th Birthday Liz!
On TV again!
My good friend Liz turned 30 last week and her childhood dream has always been to be a contestant on the Price Is Right. Well.......it did not exactly happen that way. Our other good friend, Kim, arranged a big group to see a taping of the show. She got to see a taping of the PIR but no one from our group was called up. Bummer. As Liz herself put it, "We're just not trashy enough." I agree! But, it was still a fun day. The show will air on April 4th, FYI.

Husband Tag
How long have you been together? Our first date was October 8, 2002, engaged April 11, 2003, married September 27, 2003.
How long did you date? See above. We dated for about 7 months and were engaged for 5.
How old is he? 31. About two years older than I am.
Who eats more? We loooooove to eat around here. I cook very healthy and Aaron loves to eat it. But, he does have an incredible sweet tooth. He just about begs me to bake a cake every Sunday. I never do. Any junk food that is in our house was bought in by him. Depending what he has brought home, I usually have a sample.
Who said I love you first? Aaron implied it shortly after we met. But, the words actually left my lips first.
Who is taller? Aaron is 6'2 and I am 5'6 - a pretty good match.
Who is smarter? Aaron is definitely book smarter than I am, he loves math for goodness sake! He can memorize things rather quickly. He never loses anything or forgets where he put something. This is the polar opposite of me, I am always frantically looking for where I put my whatever. When it comes to common sense, I take the cake on that one.
Who does the laundry? I DO, AND I HATE IT! I do not mind washing or folding, when it comes to putting it away I would rather poke myself with a a stick. I am trying to get worked out that I do the washing and folding and Aaron puts away. He has not completely agreed to it but we are working on it. My drawers will be a lot more organized if this comes into fruition.
Who does the dishes? I do, while he does bath and bed time with Noellie Bellie.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you're standing facing our bed I do. I sleep closer to the door. This has been a kind of sensitive subject because I have always wanted the other side of the bed. But, Aaron's rationale is that since he sleeps flat on his back all night like he is in a coffin he always has his right arm on the outside of the bed. This way if someone comes in he is ready to swing and give it his best shot.
Who pays the bills? Are you kidding? The accountant husband? He does.
Who mows the lawn? Aaron usually does. I have powered that thing up a time or two.
Who cooks dinner? I do. Always. Aaron has never really cooked a meal. If I look back really far I can see scrambled eggs once and a grilled cheese sandwich or two.
Who drives when you are together? Aaron, most of the time. He is like his dad - a human Thomas Guide. He just has a great sense of direction and always gets us there.
Who is more stubborn? Wellllllllllll.....that's a good question. I can't really decide. Aaron usually says sorry first. And, I think he should because he is usually wrong. :)
Who kissed who first? Of course, he did. I wouldn't until I knew this was the real deal.
Who asked who out first? We were set up on a date and while we were on that date he asked me out for that Saturday.
Who proposed? Aaron did.......it was precious. After he sent me on an elaborate scavenger hunt. He was incredibly nervous.
Who wears the pants in the family? To be honest, we both have a pair of pants....but I usually have the last word.

Little Girl
Here she was upset because I would not let her have the camera. I am such a mean Mommy.
Noelle's Sleeping Habits Have Changed
On Sunday night I was at Auntie's house until 2:30 in the morning playing Scrabble. Fun, I know! I crawled into bed and it seemed only minutes later (it was 5:30am) I hear, "Lil' One! Lil' One, wake up!" That is Aaron's nickname for me and I have no idea where he got that from because there really is nothing little about me.
But, anyway, it scared me to death. I stumble out of bed and cracked one eye open. Aaron takes me by the arm into the hallway and I cannot believe my eyes. Noelle had obviously climbed out of her crib, took all of the clothes out of her dresser, and pulled all her blankets and pillows off her bed. She piled them all in her doorway and was fast asleep laying on top of it all.
Her head then popped up and she says, "Hi, Mama." Dang! I could not get a picture. We do not have get her out of bed anymore, she throws a leg over and jumps out. Last night we were on the couch watching our recorded episode of Survivor. It was 9:44pm exactly and Noelle just appears in front of us and says, "OH! HI DAAAA-YEEEEEEE!" Scared us to death!
She really is not my baby anymore. It breaks my heart! Now we have to make a decision......take the front of her crib off and make it a toddler bed or just put her directly into a twin bed.

Sad Time......
Please keep her in your prayers that her passing may be peaceful and pain free.
UPDATE: My auntie did pass away, the day after I wrote this post. Her passing was peaceful and painless. We were all gathered around her, it was a very tender experience. On Sunday we had a family Memorial and a special toast to her. It was a great tribute with her favorite thing to eat - MEXICAN.
Thanks to everyone for your kind wishes.
